How are caregivers vetted?+
Every caregiver completes identity verification and a background check through our screening partner before they can accept bookings. Profiles also carry ratings and reviews from real, completed bookings.
What is an SOS request?+
An SOS broadcasts your care request to verified caregivers near you when you need backup right away. You see who is responding live in the app. SOS is not a substitute for emergency services. In a life-threatening emergency, call 911.
How do payments work?+
Payments are handled securely in-app through Stripe. Caregivers set their rates, you approve the amount before booking, and funds are released after care is completed and the timesheet is confirmed. No cash needed.
How much does it cost to use BabySOS?+
Downloading the app and sending an SOS is free. You pay the caregiver's rate plus any disclosed service fee, shown before you confirm. There are no hidden booking fees.
Can I cancel a booking?+
Yes. You can cancel in the app, and your refund depends on timing. See our Refund Policy for the full cancellation details.
How do I become a caregiver?+
Download the app, switch to caregiver mode, build your profile, and complete identity verification and a background check. Once verified, you can set your rates and availability and start accepting bookings and SOS requests.
